England legends captain Kevin Pietersen slammed a brutal half-century against Indian legends following which fans want him back in the English team for the upcoming T20I series against India.

Opening the innings for England legends, skipper Kevin Pietersen smashed 37 ball 74 runs knock, and helped his team post a target of 188 runs and beat Sachin Tendulkar led India legends by 6 runs in a high scoring thriller.

His knock of 74 runs, which included six fours and five maximums, earned him man of the match. 

Following Pietersen’s knock Twitterati went berserk and lauded him for playing such an aggressive game at an age of 40. Many fans even expressed their desire to see Pietersen back in the England T20I team.
