Team India members wished women around the world on International Women's Day. India captain Virat Kohli called strength of women the strength of the society in his tweet.

India's Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane thanked women in his life for the endless support and he also feels lucky to be surrounded by so many strong women.

Kohli wrote, "Happy Women's Day to all the amazing women of the world. The strength of a society is the strength of women", while Rahane posted, "I feel lucky to be surrounded by so many strong women in my life, thank you for your all unending support. Wishing all the wonderful women a very Happy Women’s Day!".

India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also shared his thoughts and he bowed down in respect of all the powerful women. "May we know them. May we raise them. May we be them. Here's to all the wonderful & strong women around the world, I bow my head in respect and solidarity with all of you out there. #InternationalWomensDay."

India's wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant saluted the women who break the barriers every day with their efforts. "This #InternationalWomensDay I salute all the women around us who are breaking barriers through their efforts every day.
