India's cricket team captain Virat Kohli wished his wife Anushka Sharma, daughter Vamika and the women around the world on International Women's Day. Kohli said after witnessing the birth of a child, he understood the true strength of a woman.
The 33-year-old posted a picture of his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka holding their daughter in her arms. He wrote that Vamika is going to grow up to be a strong woman like her mother.

"Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine-chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It's because they are way stronger than us men," wrote Kohli.
He further added, "Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world (sic)."
Kohli and Anushka were blessed with a baby girl in Mumbai on January 11 this year. The couple had tied the knot on December 11, 2017.
