Rishabh Pant played one of the astonishing shots in Test history when he reverse scooped James Anderson bowling the new ball over the slip cordon. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag applauded the left-hander with a meme on Twitter and Pant replied saying that he has learnt from Sehwag himself.
To lay out a fact, ESPNCricInfo pointed out - "Since 2014, Rishabh Pant is the first player to reverse sweep/pull James Anderson in Test cricket."
This makes the shot even more special apart from the fact that the T20 shot was played to the world's most successful pacer in Test history, bowling with a new ball in his hand.
