Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi celebrated his '44th' birthday on Monday, March 1. He thanked his fans on Twitter for the messages just 33 minutes after the day started.

The bowling all-rounder had mentioned in his autobiography that he was born in 1975. According to that, he should have turned 46 in 2021. On most of the reliable websites with profiles of cricketers, his age is 41. With the latest tweet, people now have another number to worry about - 44.

Shahid Afridi tweeted, "Thank you very much for all the lovely birthday wishes - 44 today! My family and my fans are my biggest assets. Really enjoying my stint with Multan and hope to produce match winning performances for all MS fans."

And soon, he received plenty of replies with people still trying to solve the mystery of his age.
