Former India batsman Wasim Jaffer recalled his double hundred against Pakistan in Kolkata. Jaffer scored 202 in 274 deliveries, back in 2007. It was his second double hundred in Test cricket.
Jaffer got reminded of the innings after a statistician posted stats related to that innings. Out of 202 runs, he had scored 192 runs on the first day of the Test match. It remains the highest individual score on the first day of a home Test for India.

The 42-year-old shared a picture from the innings with Shoaib Akhtar standing next to him. Funnily, he used the famous word of Akhtar among the Twitterati, 'phainta', while captioning the picture.

India opener Rohit Sharma scored 161 on the first day of the second Test against England. He smashed 18 fours and 2 sixes in his innings which came at a strike-rate of 69.70.
