India cricket great Sachin Tendulkar's tweet on the ongoing protest by the farmers has received criticism. He was among the big names who tweeted against the international celebrities for supporting the farmers' protest.

Sachin wrote that the outsiders shouldn't poke nose in India's internal matter after the likes of international pop star Rihanna and Mia Khalifa posted a tweet.

"India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let's remain united as a nation. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda," tweeted Tendulkar.

But now fans regret criticizing Sharapova and they visited her Facebook page to apologize. The Tennis player posted a cheeky tweet after seeing her social media flooded with apologies.

"Anyone else got their years confused?!", she wrote.
