Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Haryana all-rounder Rahul Tewatia got engaged on Wednesday (February 3). Tewatia shared pictures from his engagement ceremony on social media. "3.2.2021 ????❤️," he wrote while posting the priceless moments from the ceremony. 

Tewatia and his fiance Ridhi Pannu can be seen exchanging rings in the picture. Former India cricketer Suresh Raina replied his post and congratulated him on the engagement.

The ceremony was attended by Mumbai Indians spinner Jayant Yadav and Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Nitish Rana. They also posted pictures in their Instagram stories.

Tewatia became a famous name among the Indian cricket fans in the last Indian Premier League (IPL) in UAE. It was the match against Kings XI Punjab when he smashed 5 sixes in an over to turn the game single-handedly. He was being criticized for playing a slow knock which took a dramatic turn. 

The 27-year-old played 14 matches in IPL 2020 and picked up 10 wickets in the tournament with an economy of 7.08. He scored 255 runs with an average of 42.50 and a strike-rate of 139.34.
