Anushka Sharma has revealed the name of their baby girl on social media. She posted a picture with the baby and her husband, the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli while sharing the name.
Virat and Anushka have named their daughter 'Vamika'. The actress wrote that the presence of the newborn has taken their life to a whole new level. She also thanked her fans and well wishers for the prayers and good energy.
"We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one , Vamika ❤️ has taken it to a whole new level ! (sic)," she wrote in the caption.
"Tears , laughter , worry , bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! "
"Sleep is elusive ???? but our hearts are SO full ❤️ Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers, and good energy ????(sic)," the caption further read.
The couple can be seen looking at the baby with a smile and glowing face which shows how much Vamika means to them. Virat and Anushka were blessed with the baby girl on January 11.
Kohli had shared the news on social media through a post. He had requested the media to respect their privacy and not click pictures of their daughter. They have still not made her picture public.
