India's Test batsman Cheteshwar Pujara turned 33 on Monday (January 25). He received birthday wishes from the Indian cricket fraternity on a special day.

Pujara has been in talks since his solid performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21. He scored most fifties in the four-match series and ended with 271 runs, the second most after Rishabh Pant for India.

The 33-year-old's innings on the last day at the Gabba is getting appreciated a lot. He had taken multiple blows on his body to ensure India stay in the chase and don't lose too many wickets. Eventually, they won the match to seal the series 2-1.

India cricket great Sachin Tendulkar posted birthday wishes for Pujara and advised him to continue the way he bats. "Wishing you a very happy birthday, Cheteshwar! Have a year full of happiness and good health. Keep playing the way you always do.", Sachin wrote.

Virender Sehwag made a hilarious tweet and showed the condition of bowlers while bowling to him. "Happy Birthday to a wonderful selfless cricketer, his contributions cannot be measured only in runs- @cheteshwar1. Has been as solid as a Wall, When he bats, this is Bowlers ka Haal", he posted.

Best wishes for the England series ????????????????".

Another former India cricketer, Wasim Jaffer, in his style, used a famous meme of the cartoon series 'Powerpuff girls' to show the qualities of Pujara. "Happy birthday @cheteshwar1 ! They don't make them like you anymore. #HappyBirthdayPujara", he tweeted.
