Arjun Tendulkar, son of great Sachin Tendulkar made his debut for the senior Mumbai team in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy 2021, in a match against Haryana. The match was held at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

Atharva Ankolekar (37), Sarfaraz Khan (30), and Yashasvi Jaiswal (35) were the main scorers as Mumbai made 143 in 19.3 overs. Jayant Yadav (4/22) and Arun Chaprana (3/22) were the best bowlers for Haryana.

In return, Haryana chased down the target in 17.4 overs with Himanshu Rana (75* with 9 fours and 3 sixes) and Shivam Chauhan (43*) making the bulk of runs. Haryana lost two wickets in the process, winning the match by 8 wickets.

Left-arm seamer Arjun Tendulkar removed opener Chaitanya Bishnoi for 4 runs to pick his maiden wicket for Mumbai on his T20 debut. Bishnoi was caught by wicketkeeper Aditya Tare, as Tendulkar finished with figures of 1/34 in 3 overs.
