Mushfiqur Rahim had to apologize to his Beximco Dhaka teammate Nasum Ahmed for threatening to hit him on the field. The veteran wicket-keeper batsman was furious after Nasum didn't move from his place after he called for the catch.

Later, Rahim was fined 25% for misbehaving with the youngster. But it wasn't the only time he threatened to punch him. Even during the 13th over of Fortune Barishal's innings of the same match, Mushfiqur was angry over Nasum coming in his way on the field.

While the Dhaka captain ran to stop a single, Ahmed too tried to stop the ball off his own bowling. But this time the 26-year-old did nothing wrong to face the anger of his senior.

Here is the video:

Rahim had posted an apology post on social media and wrote, “Assalamualaikum to all, First of all officially I would like to apologize to all my fans and spectators regarding the incident that happened yesterday during the match. I have already apologized after the game to my fellow teammate Nasum. Secondly, I seek forgiveness from the Almighty.

"I always remember I am a human being above all and the gesture that I have shown was not acceptable at all. Inshaa Allah in near future, I promise it won’t be repeated on the ground or outside the ground. JazakAllah khair”.
