India and Australia's second ODI had a beautiful moment during the match when a guy went down on a knee to propose to his girlfriend. The 25,000 people present at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) witnessed the moment and applauded the couple.

As per the reports of Indian Link, the guy is named Dipen Mandaliya and he is a management graduate from Bangalore. His girlfriend Rose had no clue a special moment is waiting for her during the match.

"Looking back, I can see a few hints at a proposal but otherwise, I had no idea!", she told Indian Link after the match. They are dating each other for over a year, but Rose didn't see it coming.

Dipen had informed SCG about the proposal and the officials supported him. "I was a bit nervous to propose in front of 25,000 people when the match started, I was continuously thinking about how it will go. Never thought it will go viral like this," he said.

In a chat with the broadcasters, Dipen had revealed initially the plan was to propose in front of the family and friends, but he decided to take it to plan B and propose in front of a huge crowd after the pandemic.
