WATCH - Suresh Raina shares 'Thursday Motivation' exercise; works on stretching muscles

Raina couldn't play the IPL 2020 and returned before the tournament because of personal reason.

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina is working on his fitness and preparing for the next Indian Premier League (IPL) after missing the 2020 season. Raina had pulled out of IPL 2020 citing personal reason and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played an IPL edition without him for the first time.

Raina is now completely focused on preparation for the upcoming season in 2021. He is sharing videos from his fitness sessions and in the recent post, the 33-year-old can be seen doing stretching exercise.

"When you are in a really good workout flow, feels so great to stretch those muscles #ThursdayMotivation", he wrote.

Raina retired from all formats of cricket on August 15 with former India captain MS Dhoni. He was all geared up for the IPL 2020 but went back to India ahead of the tournament which surprised everyone.

The rumors suggested Raina wasn't happy with the hotel room in the bio-bubble, but he revealed that it was a personal decision.
