KL Rahul had a tremendous IPL 2020 with the bat as he ended up the tournament as the no.1 run-scorer in the tournament. He made 670 runs in 14 matches with the highest score of 132* and along with five half-centuries.
He made those runs at a strike rate of 129.34 and averaged 55.83 while hitting 58 fours and 23 sixes. Unfortunately, Rahul couldn’t lead his team, the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) into the playoffs, as they lost a must-win match to Chennai Super Kings.
However, with the next highest scorer, David Warner, being more than 150 runs adrift, despite having atleast one more match in his kitty, it is safe to assume that KL Rahul will end up with the Orange Cap for the most runs in the tournament.
After the tournament ended for KL Rahul and KXIP, it seems he is spending some lovely time with someone special in UAE. He recently took to Instagram and wishes Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty on her birthday.
The two of them are rumored to be dating and often feature on each other's social media. Athiya Shetty had wished the Kings XI Punjab captain on his birthday, calling him "my person".
Athiya, daughter of Bollywood stalwart Suniel Shetty, turned 28, and KL wished her by posting a loved up photo of the two and captioning the pic, “Happy birthday mad child.”
