Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a thriller in Dubai with Ravindra Jadeja hitting a couple of sixes to win the game. The Men in Yellow made KKR's situation tougher with the Eoin Morgan-led side now at the fifth spot in the points table and only one game remaining.

Match 49 of IPL 2020 was a topsy-turvy encounter with CSK getting hold of the game before letting it go and then snatching it back again. KKR was put in to bat first on a sluggish pitch and they managed to register a total of 172/5 in their 20 overs.

23-year-old Ruturaj Gaikwad anchored the innings well with a 53-ball 72 before throwing his wicket away towards the business end of the game. He was well supported by veteran Ambati Rayudu, who scored 38 off just 20 balls but got carried away with the big shots.

Thankfully, Ravindra Jadeja came to the party right when the batting side needed him to score quick and he delivered with an unbeaten 31 off just 11 balls. He hit Kamlesh Nagarkoti for two huge sixes over long-on to take CSK home when they needed 7 runs off the last 2 balls.
