Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra, who is currently an active commentator, knows how to silent trolls on social media. There have been times when his career stats for India has been dragged into the conversation, but he handled it very well.
Chopra did it once again when a Twitter user shared a meme on his IPL stats. The meme read, "When your passion is commentary but your parents force you to become cricketer".
The ex-cricketer took it sportingly and replied, "It’s funny for sure. But If this was indeed the case, I can’t thank my folks enough to push me to play cricket first...fortunate to be in a list of just 296 players who’ve got the chance to represent India in Tests. ????♂️????".

There was another user, who sarcastically tried to question his place in the Kolkata Knight Riders' squad in the first IPL. Chopra responded to him and explained it wasn't so easy.
"That’s a good one. Lemme go back in time—since there was no domestic T20 at that time, teams went with List-A records, I think. I averaged 346 that year in List-A for Delhi. If my memory is serving me right...3 unbeaten centuries in 4 or 5 games. Good luck with ur selection," he wrote.
Recently, Aakash had won hearts on Twitter with his polite response to New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham, who couldn't take criticism from him.
