Former Indian cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir always speaks his heart out whether it is about cricketing matters or India-Pakistan relations, he never shies away from speaking his mind.

Gambhir, who is regarded as one of the most celebrated cricketers, has always been critical of Pakistan and is often seen publicly slamming the arch-rivals for the cross-border terrorism. However, the World Cup winner maintains that he never has problem with Pakistan but its terror activities.

Well, the matter has yet again come into the light when the former opening batsman was accused of being anti-Pakistan by a Twitter user, but he, as usual, gave a befitting reply to him.

After completing a year in politics, Gambhir took part in a candid Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on 6th October to interact with his fans and followers on micro-blogging website Twitter.

During the AMA session, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) was accused of being anti-Pakistan by one of the users. He asked the cricketer on the microblogging site: “Why are you soo anti-Pakistan?? @GautamGambhir #AskGG”

Well, Gambhir was quick to give a befitting response to the user, although, the former Indian cricketer has insisted that he is not anti-Pakistan.

He responded the user by saying: “I’m not! I don’t think any Indian is. But when we have to choose between the lives of our soldiers & anything else, we r all on the same side!”

Noteworthy, Gambhir represented India in 58 Tests, 147 ODIs and 37 T20Is and scored over 10,000 international runs before joining politics as a BJP MP last year and has been doing a commendable job.
