IPL franchises celebrate International Dog Day; posts rare pictures of their players with pets

Indian Premier League (IPL) joined the rest of the world in celebrating International Dog Day. August 26 is dedicated to the canines and the IPL franchises shared pictures of players with their pet dogs.

Mumbai Indians posted an unseen picture of Rohit Sharma and his daughter Samaira playing with their pet dog. Pandya brothers can also be seen in the post.

Virat Kohli-led franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore also shared pictures of their captain and AB de Villiers. Sunrisers Hyderabad too celebrated the day with a photo of Kane Williamson holding two of his pet dogs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar can also be seen lying on the floor and making eye contact with his pet.

There is rarely anyone who wouldn't love a dog and the pictures from each franchise show it very well. KL Rahul, the Kings XI Punjab captain posed for a picture with his dog too.

All the franchises are busy in preparation for the IPL 2020. This year, they have to pay extra attention in preparation because of COVID-19. A single mistake can affect the whole tournament.
