Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan proposed a charity-cum-farewell match between the retired players and the current Indian side. He wants the former India cricketers, who couldn't get a farewell match, to take the field once again.

A fan responded to the proposal and jokingly said Pathan is planning to humiliate the current India captain Virat Kohli-led side in a face-off. Irfan didn't ignore the comment and responded to him saying Kohli can easily take them down.

Pathan released his retired player's XI and it has Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan, and Pragyan Ojha in the team.

"Many people are talking about a farewell game for retired players who didn't get a proper send-off from the game. How about a charity cum farewell game from a team consisting of retired players vs the current Indian team," Pathan tweeted.

The fan replied, “Kyun Chiku ko pelne me lge ho”, to which Irfan responded, "Chiku hamara kachumbar bana dega".
