CPL 2020: WATCH - Keemo Paul's amazing ‘mask on’ celebration in the CPL

West Indies players and their wicket celebrations have always been unique and talking points among the cricket lovers whether be it Sheldon Cottrell’s salute or Kesrick Williams’ notebook celebration.

Well, Keemo Paul has now joined the list, as the all-rounder hit the headlines with his ‘mask on’ celebration during the fourth match between Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the ongoing Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 in Tarouba on Thursday (August 19).

Guyana Amazon Warriors pacer Paul pulled out an absolute corker of a celebration when he pulled out a safety mask to celebrate Nick Kelly’s wickets during the CPL 2020 encounter on Thursday.

The incident took place in the fourth delivery of the seventh over when Kelly hit Paul delivery straight to the backward point fielder Shimron Hetmyer and found himself in trouble as the all-rounder pulled out his COVID-19 black cotton mask to celebrate the wicket.

However, soon after realizing the pandemic rules, Paul went on to wear the mask and ordered everyone around him to move away for social distancing to carry on his celebration with high-fives.

Noteworthy, Keemo finished with the second-best CPL bowling figures of 4/19 to help Guyana Amazon Warriors seal a 3-wicket victory over St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. He was also named the Player of the Match for his stellar performance with the ball on Thursday.
