The whole of India on August 15, 2020, is celebrating the nation’s 74th Independence Day.
India gained its Independence from the British on August 15, 1947, after more than 200 years of occupation. It is an occasion of joy and pride. It also reminds the citizens to be indebted to all those people who lost their lives to gain independence for the country from the British.
