With Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 scheduled to get underway on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates, India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, like other players, is excited and eager to get going with the lucrative T20 tournament.

Taking to Twitter on Friday (August 7), the 30-year-old spinner expressed his excitement about the IPL 13 by sharing a throwback picture with his captain Virat Kohli.

Sharing the picture, the leg-spinner has made his intent crystal clear that he’s determined to torment the batsmen in the upcoming IPL 2020 and the opposition must be vary of him.

Chahal captioned the post: “The wait is over. Let’s roar ???? @royalchallengersbangalore #IPL”

Noteworthy, the Haryana-born bowler Chahal has been the mainstay of RCB bowling line-up over the years as well as has a pretty impressive record in the IPL with 100 wickets 84 matches, making him the third-most successful leg-spinner in the history of the marquee tournament.

Meanwhile, the star-studded RCB is yet to win the IPL despite featuring in the tournament since 2008, but former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg recently predicted that Kohli-led franchise have a great chance to win their maiden IPL title in the UAE this year.

Hogg said in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel: “They (RCB) will have a big chance to take out an IPL. They have always had good stock on paper but they have never been able to go out and get the job done. Now, with the inclusion of (Aaron) Finch at the top, he will be able to dominate the powerplay overs...get some quick runs and relieve the pressure off AB de Villiers and Kohli in the middle-order.”

Hogg signed off by saying, “Also, their bowling attack looks strong with Dale Steyn and Kane Richardson, and they have a better team balance as compared to last couple of years. They will have a better strategy going into the tournament.”
