Saha shares picture of him and Shami following social distancing norms before COVID-19 hit cricket

Keeping in mind the global health crisis and ICC guidelines, players were seen following the social distancing norms during the field of play. There were no wild celebrations or group hugs at the fall of wickets.

While Team India are yet play a match in wake of the COVID-19 hiatus, cricketers know how to operate in the upcoming assignments.

In fact, some Indian players have been practising the social distancing norms even before the pandemic rocked cricket.

On Tuesday (August 4), India wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha shared an old picture on Instagram, in which he can be seen involved in a fist celebration with speedster Mohammad Shami.

Reacting to the post, Shami stated: “Sahi pakde hai Wriddhi da”.

While there is no clarity on India’s next fixture, it is certain that the team will tour Australia at the end of the year to play four Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricketers will be seen in action during the 13th edition of Indian Premier League, slated to be held in UAE from September 19 to November 10.
