Dieter Klein breached the ICC players' code of conduct | Screengrab

Leicestershire bowler Dieter Klein received backlash for his horrible throw during a match of the Bob Willis Trophy against Lancashire. A five-run penalty was handed to Leicestershire for the incident.

Klein had completed his run-up and the ball was hit right back at him by the batsman Danny Lamb. The bowler collected the ball and threw it on the foot of the batsman, even though he looked in no intention to steal a run. Lamb looked visibly hurt and he was in a lot of pain as players ran towards him.

While some Twitterati were in support of the bowler, rest was not happy with the behavior of Klein and called the throw pointless.
