India opener Shikhar Dhawan has shared a lot of good memories with MS Dhoni but he picked one of them after being asked by a fan. Former India captain has been a beloved of his teammates. Dhawan is no different when it comes to admiring Dhoni.
Talking about his favorite moment with Dhoni, Shikhar said the ICC 2013 Champions Trophy was the best. It was a turning point in his career and he can't stop thanking Dhoni for showing faith in him.

The left-handed batsman had scored 363 runs in five matches with an average of 90.75. He hasn't had a good outing in the warm-up matches but Dhoni had already made up his mind to open with Dhawan in the main tournament.
“I have great memories with Dhoni bhai, especially 2013 Champions Trophy, which was my comeback series so he backed me a lot. I had not done well in my warm-up matches as well despite which he backed me. We did great as a team, did not lose a single match, started winning the warm-up fixtures, won the Champions Trophy. Those were the happiest moments on and off the field as they enjoyed a lot together,” the 34-year old said in a video for his fan.
