Kaif's brilliant athleticism in the first ODI of the five-match series during India's tour of Pakistan in 2004 helped India to win a gripping encounter by just 5 runs in Karachi.
Revisiting his genius on the field, former cricketer shared the video of his epic catch on his Twitter and wrote: “Fearlessness of youth makes you chase the impossible and grab it with both hands.”
In the video, Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik hit one towards long-on and Kaif ran from long-off at full speed, stretched full length, and grasped the ball with both hands, but he nearly took teammate Hemang Badani's head off while completing his catch.
In the post, Kaif has also amusingly apologized to his teammate Badani for the same.
