MS Dhoni and helicopter shot is something that will live on for eternity. It has become the three-time ICC trophy winner’s calling card whenever a bowler tried to outsmart him with a yorker. Dhoni’s strong forearms and wrists had the best answer in the whippy helicopter shot.

First made popular during the Pakistan ODI series in 2005 and in his 183* innings against Sri Lanka, Dhoni perfected and executed the shot multiple times for both India and Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

Many other batsmen have since taken out their own version of helicopter shot, with even casual cricketers putting up videos of themselves trying out the Dhoni special shot.

In a recent video posted by the Sunrisers Hyderabad, their star spinner from Afghanistan Rashid Khan is seen hitting a left-arm bowler for a picture perfect MS Dhoni helicopter shot.  Khan is seen wearing a traditional Pathani suit and batting in sandals. The ball went sailing into the stands of the stadium.
