Ramakrishnan Sridhar, better known as R Sridhar, the current fielding coach of the Indian team is celebrating his 50th birthday today. A former FC cricketer from Hyderabad, Sridhar joined the Indian team in 2014.
He is also the fielding coach of IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and is credited with the excellent fielding and fitness standards shown by the Indian team off late. He has formed a brilliant team with captain Virat Kohli, inspiring every youngster coming into the team to strive for 100% fitness.

Sridhar has been one of the reasons for the Indian team's brilliant fielding standards in international cricket and competing with the likes of Australia and England.
