The first Test between England and West Indies saw numerous decisions getting overturned. West Indies were spot on with their reviews which turned in their favor during the first innings.

Umpires Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough received backlash on social media for mediocre umpiring. One after another, there were several times when DRS became savor and the umpiring was questioned.

Jason Holder who bagged a figure of 6/42 on the second day had to rely on DRS to get decisions in his favor after his appeal was rejected by the on-field umpire.
