On Tuesday (July 7), the cricket fraternity once again got a glimpse of Dhoni’s ardent fan following when he took his bike out for a ride.

The former India skipper was enjoying bike ride at his farm house in Ranchi on his 39th birthday and the fans were heard shouting in the background, “Mahi Sir, ek baar aa jaaye” which translates into “Mahi Sir, please come towards us once”.

Dhoni didn’t disappoint his crazy fans as he waved towards them, acknowledging their unconditional love.

It has been almost a year since MS Dhoni last played any form of competitive cricket. The World Cup 2019 semi-final against New Zealand at Old Trafford was his last appearance in Team India colours.

He was set to lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League but the Coronavirus outbreak forced the BCCI to suspend the cash-rich event indefinitely.
