Pakistan cricket team reached Manchester on Sunday night for their upcoming bilateral series against England to be played in August-September. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the same via a couple of video posts on its official Twitter handle on Sunday (June 28).
A 31-member Pakistan contingent, including 20 players and 11 support staff members, arrived in England on a chartered flight from Lahore to play a three-match Test series followed by a three-match T20I series here.
Upon arrival in Manchester, the Pakistan squad transported to Worcestershire where they will undergo testing and then will be put under a 14-day quarantine period in 'bio-secure' environment, during which they will be allowed to train before transferring to Derbyshire on July 13 to prepare for their series.

In the video shared by the PCB on Twitter, the Pakistani players and support staff members were seen wearing a mask and maintaining distance while coming out one by one in Manchester.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan players who reached England on Sunday are Azhar Ali (captain), Babar Azam (vice-captain), Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Iftikhar Ahmad, Imad Wasim, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Musa Khan, Naseem Shah, Rohail Nazir, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, Sohail Khan, Usman Shinwari, and Yasir Shah.
Originally, a total of 29 Pakistan players were supposed to fly to England but 10 of them tested positive for COVID-19.
However, a few days later 6 out of 10 Coronavirus infected players including Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, and Wahab Riaz have tested negative in their second tests, but they would be sent to England only after two of their successive tests return negative that will be held next week.
Noteworthy, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Kashif Bhatti and Imran Khan, and Malang Ali have once again tested positive for the COVID-19 in their second tests.
