Just like all the other Indian cricketers, ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is spending time at home in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has brought the world to a practical standstill.
Ashwin was set to play for Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) but the deadly outbreak forced the BCCI to postpone the T20 tournament “until further notice”.

Amid the lockdown, Ashwin seems to be making the most of his spare time. On Tuesday (June 23), the off-spinner was seen playing indoor cricket with his daughter.
Ashwin shared a video of the same on Instagram in which his daughter can be seen giving him some throwdowns.
"Catch them young!! Even if it's for throwdowns. Any work is good work now," Ashwin wrote in the caption of the video which was captured by his wife Prithi Ashwin.
Even though the central government and sports ministry have given a go-ahead signal for sportspersons to resume training at empty stadiums, the Indian cricket team is yet to hit the ground running with a proper national camp because of some of the travelling restrictions that are still in place.
While there is still no clarity about the resumption of cricket in India, one thing is certain that the Indian cricket team will tour Australia later this year to play four Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.
Given that Ashwin only plays the longest format for India, he will now be seen in action during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy down under, starting December 3 at Gabba.
