Cricket has come to a grinding halt due to COVID-19 pandemic, which has claimed more than 470,000 lives globally so far.
Most of the countries have been in total lockdown for months now to contain the spread of this deadly virus.
Amid the crisis, cricketers are finding ways to beat the boredom at home. On Monday (June 23), India all-rounder Hardik Pandya made his presence felt in the kitchen.
Hardik shared a picture on Instagram in which he can be seen donning a colourful apron and cooking while also posing for a picture with a big smile on his face.
"Never too late to try your hand at learning something new. Chef duties at the Pandya household Swipe for the dish PS dish is cheese butter masala," Pandya captioned his photo.
While fans came up with appreciatory messages for Hardik’s cooking skills, it was his India teammate Shikhar Dhawan who hogged the limelight with his cheeky dig at the all-rounder.
"Bikul bhai tuney hi banaya hoga. (I am sure brother that the dish has been cooked by you)," Dhawan commented.
Hardik Pandya has been away from international cricket since September 2019 due to a lower-back injury. He was set to make a comeback in the abandoned ODI series against South Africa before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
