India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan went out with his family to feed hungry animals. Dhawan wanted to teach his son the true values of life, as he wrote in his post.

Animals have also suffered a lot in the COVID-19 pandemic. The stray animals couldn't find food as all the shops were closed in the lockdown. Some of them were surviving on the leftover foods.

Dhawan set a good example for his son and also his followers on social media. "

As a father, it's very important to teach my son the true values of life and one of them is to be kind to others, especially the ones in need. Feeding hungry animals during these tough times are important and I feel proud imparting such deep lessons to my son. Would request everyone to do their bit," Dhawan captioned the video.

He got lauded by his friends in Indian cricket. Harbhajan Singh commented and praised him for the work. "Sabash Jatta," Harbhajan wrote with a heart emoji. Kuldeep Yadav also commented a heart emoji.

Recently, an incident of animal cruelty in Kerala had shaken everyone. An elephant died after he ate fruit with explosives inside.
