Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi stirred a hornet’s nest recently after his anti-India laden statements when he visited the PoK. He made insulting remarks against Indian PM Narendra Modi.

This time he also disrespected Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman in his hateful speech against India.

He received severe backlash from Indian cricketers starting from Gautam Gambhir and then Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh, who had once made a video urging their Indian fans to donate to Afridi’s charitable foundation which is fighting against COVID-19, also slammed the former Pakistani captain for his idiotic and crass remarks against Indian PM and member of Indian Armed forces.

Now, two other indian cricketers who have played against Shahid Afridi have come forward to harsh criticise his words.

Former India limited overs captain Suresh Raina tweeted, ”Gosh! What all a person must do to remain relevant! Even more so for a nation that is living on alms. So, better do something for your failed nation and leave #Kashmir alone. I am a proud Kashmiri and it is and will always remain an inalienable part of India. Jai Hind!????????❤????

Meanwhile, India opener Shikhar Dhawan also slammed Afridi for ranting about Kashmir when the world, including his country is struggling against Coronavirus.

He tweeted, “Is waqt jab saari duniya corona se lad rahi hai us waqt bhi tumko kashmir ki padi hai.

Kashmir humara tha humare hai aur humara hi rahega. Chaiyeh 22 crore le ao, humara ek, sava lakh ke barabar hai . Baaki ginti apne aap kar lena @SAfridiOfficial”

Pakistan had opened up majority of country for business despite the active cases crossing 40,000 in the country.

On the other hand, India has extended its lockdown period, which was supposed to end on May 17, till May 31.
