India lost one of the best actors the country has produced as actor Irrfan Khan who was battling colon cancer took his last breath in Mumbai on Wednesday (29 April).

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh who also fought against cancer and recovered successfully understood the pain the actor went through as he said that even though he fought till the end, only some lucky ones survive.

“I know the journey I know the pain and I know he fought till the end some are lucky to survive some don’t I’m sure you are in a better place now Irfan Khan my condolence to your family. May his soul rip,” Singh wrote on Twitter.

Irrfan passed away at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital on Wednesday while battling rare form of cancer. He was 53. He was last seen on screen in Angrezi Medium.
