Siddle picked four South African and three Englishmen in his star-studded line-up, which also has two players each from India and Sri Lanka.

Siddle, who represented Australia in 67 Tests, opted to go with Alastair Cook and Graeme Smith as his two openers. For the crucial No. 3 position, he preferred Sri Lanka’s leading Test scorer Kumar Sangakkara.

"Two lefties... obviously great players... very good captains in their own rights. But yeah, otherwise tough opponents whenever we came up against them," Siddle said in a video uploaded by cricket.com.au on Twitter.

"Kumar Sangakkara at No.3. He is not the wicket-keeper of the side and that is why he is batting at three."

Sachin Tendulkar and AB de Villiers were slotted at No. 4 and 5 by Siddle. Jacques Kallis was the designated all-rounder in the team.

"I nearly forgot to put this man in the team but Jacques Kallis comes in at No.6. If you are a bowler you will be very happy with his stats. If you are a batter you will still be very happy with his stats. He has got almost the same number of wickets as Brett Lee," Siddle said.

MS Dhoni, the chosen wicketkeeper in the side, was placed to bat at No. 7 while Siddle named Rangana Herath as the lone spinner in the side. Stuart Broad, Dale Steyn and James Anderson round off an intimidating fast bowling attack.
