Just like any other professional sportsman, India skipper Virat Kohli is currently spending time at home in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has brought the entire world to a practical standstill.

India was under lockdown from March 25 in an unprecedented measure in the fight against Coronavirus crisis. The lockdown was scheduled to end on April 14 but to flatten the curve of growing COVID-19 cases, the central government decided to extend it till May 3.

Amid the lockdown, Kohli on Saturday (April 18) kick-started the 'Trim at Home' challenge as he shaved off a part of his trademark beard.

Taking to Instagram, the Indian captain uploaded a video of him trimming his beard and in the caption said: "While we're all indoors, it's extremely important to do stuff that makes you feel good. Staying well groomed is one of the things that keeps me in the zone. So I thought of trimming my beard at home and giving myself this new look. Now I want all of you to take the #TrimAtHome challenge and post your new look!"

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen, who shares a very healthy camaraderie with Kohli, gave a cheeky reply to the post.

"Does it get rid of your grey there buddy?" Pietersen wrote.
