Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir is known for his forever serious face. There are very rare occasions when one has seen Gambhir with a smile on his face.

StarSports posed a tweet inviting questions from fans which will get answered by Kevin Pietersen, Gambhir, and Danny Morrison. They included pictures of all three in which only Gambhir had a serious face.

Ex-English cricketer Pietersen expressed a desire to see Gambhir with a smiling face. He responded to the tweet and wrote, "Can we get GG to smile?". But he had no idea Gautam will respond to him.

Gambhir not only replied, but he also gave Pietersen a major burn. He roasted him with a throwback picture. 

"Well, #legend guess u forgot!!! You have given me many reasons to smile. One of them came in December 2008 in Chennai. I think the scoreboard read Kevin Pietersen lbw b a certain #piechucker @YUVSTRONG12," he wrote.

The photo was from Chennai Test in 2008 when Yuvraj got Pietersen out. The England batsman used to call him a pie chucker for his bowling and Gambhir took a dig at that too.
