Shane Watson represented Australia in 59 Tests, 190 ODIs and 58 T20Is during his international career.

While some are engaging with fans on social media, a few of them are picking their all-time XIs and favourite players from the past and modern-day cricket.

Recently, former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson launched a website named “T20 STARS” to stay connected with the fans. His website includes blogs, vlogs and podcast interviews.

Promoting the website, Watson took to Twitter and wrote: “Thinking of you all during these challenging times. One thing I have found during isolation is that there is a lot more downtime to work on things you love. I hope you enjoy what I have put together.”

The tweet received positive responses from the fans but one netizen took a sly dig at Watson’s batting technique in the comment section.

“And he's out. LBW,” he wrote, reminding Watson of his terrible LBW record during the playing days.

But the former Aussie opener didn’t lose his cool and politely replied: “Hey Tom. Thanks so much for your great feedback mate. I hope you are staying safe.”

Watson was set to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) but the BCCI had to postpone the tournament from March 29 to April 15 last month due to COVID-19 outbreak.

With the COVID-19 cases continuing to rise in India and globally, it is unlikely the cash-rich event will be organised anytime soon.
