Suresh Raina thanks wife Priyanka for helping him in haircut amid COVID-19 lockdown

India is currently under a 21-day lockdown and thus citizens are currently struggling to get a haircut.

Suresh Raina | TwitterJust like every other professional cricketer, India batsman Suresh Raina is currently resting at home in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has brought the entire world to a practical standstill.

In order to contain the spread of this deadly virus, Indian government had imposed a nationwide lockdown for three weeks on March 24 and thus citizens are currently struggling to get a haircut.

Amid the lockdown, Raina on Saturday (April 11) took a bold step and cut his hair by himself. Taking to Twitter, he shared a picture post haircut and also thanked wife Priyanka for helping him.

“I could not wait any longer. Thanks for helping me  @_PriyankaCRaina #haircut #doityourself,” he captioned the picture.

Raina was set to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) before the BCCI postponed the tournament from March 29 to April 15 last month due to COVID-19 outbreak.

With the COVID-19 cases continuing to rise globally, it is unlikely the cash-rich event will be organised anytime soon.
