Amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic crisis, a section of poor and underprivileged people have been suffering the most due to the lockdown across the world, as they are fighting the odds for food apart from trying to save themselves from the deadly virus.
To tackle and curb the spread of the life-threatening COVID-19, several countries have implemented lockdown which has made life worse of the poor around the world. However, many organizations and governments have been doing their bit, but help cannot each and every person.
Besides stray animals and birds, the outbreak of the coronavirus has put human life in danger as the poor families are forced to die without food even before dying of the disease.
However, in this critical time, some people are showing great humanitarianism by helping the needy and one such act of kindness by Policemen has melted the heart of former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, April 4, India’s World Cup-winning hero shared a video where policemen are seen sharing their food with those in need and applauded the heart-warming effort by them.
He captioned the post along with a clip: “It’s heartwarming to see such act of humanity shown by these policemen. Much respect for their act of kindness during these tough times and for sharing their own food. #StayHomeStaySafe #BeKind.”
