IPL 2020: Suresh Raina explains the feeling of being called 'Chinna Thala'

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is called 'Thala' by the local fans, and his deputy, Suresh Raina gets similar respect and love by them. He is called 'Chinna Thala', referring to him as the second most powerful after leader Dhoni.

Cricket pundit and commentator Harsha Bhogle wanted to know what it feels like to get so much love from the local crowd? He tagged Raina on Twitter and asked him about his feeling behind the name 'Chinna Thala'.

"Hi, @ImRaina, I once asked MSD what it meant to him to be called "Thala" (anyone got footage of that?) How do you feel being called 'Chinna Thala"? @ChennaiIPL," asked Harsha.

Replying to him, Raina won the hearts of CSK fans with his tweet. He respects the love given by the fans, and it showed in his response. 

"It makes me feel home! For me it means the love, respect and acceptance that my Chennai family have given me. #WhistlePodu," he wrote. 

Raina is the highest run-getter for Chennai Super Kings and leaving the last few seasons, he used to be a consistent performer for the franchise which made him among the MVPs of the side.
