Maxwell, who is currently enjoying a break from the game due to COVID-19 pandemic, recently opened up about his engagement proposal.

Taking to Twitter, cricket.com.au on Monday (March 20) uploaded a video in which Maxwell can be seen explaining everything in detail.

He revealed that it all happened in a park after some of his initial plans didn’t work out. Since there were people around, Maxi felt awkward.

In fact, he went on to admit that he hid behind a tree and looked like a creep during the course of the action.

Glenn Maxwell has not played any form of competitive cricket since the Big Bash League final in February. The all-rounder had made himself available for the ODI series against South Africa in February-March but he was not picked for the series.

Maxwell is due to ply his trade in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League for Kings XI Punjab from April 15. But following the announcement of nationwide 21-day lockdown by the Indian government due to Coronavirus outbreak last week, the cancellation of cash-rich event now looks inevitable.
