The whole of India will be lock down from March 24- April 15, 2020

PM Modi shared a banner wrt to Coronavirus during his speech. As the whole world struggles to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic, India has decided to take the most extreme step and PM Narendra Modi announced that starting midnight March 24, 2020, the whole country will be locked down for 21 days till April 14.

This came after the total cases of positive Coronavirus risen to 519 and 10 people died. This increasing rate of cases in a nation like India which has a population of 1.3 billion, may prove disastrous for the country if the virus transmission gets uncontrollable.

“3 weeks at home not enough,” Jofra Archer freaks everyone with his pinpoint prediction

Therefore, taking a cue from countries like China, Japan, and South Korea, who have started recovering from this pandemic and returning to normalcy; the country has been put into lockdown to stop the virus from reaching the third stage of community transmission which can cause the most harm.

PM Modi announced that essential services will not be impacted during these three weeks of lockdown, but authorities have been asked to be strict in seeing that no one gets out of the house without a valid reason.

This was a very necessary step in order to save as many lives as possible and even the Indian cricket fraternity supported the decision of the Prime Minister and showed their solidarity on Twitter.
