Having officially announced their engagement last month on social media, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and his ladylove Vini Raman have finally got engaged in a traditional Indian engagement ceremony on March 14 (Saturday) in Melbourne.
Maxwell and Vini – who is a Melbourne-based Indian pharmacist, have been dating each other since 2017 and they announced the engagement in February on Instagram. He has been making the most of his time off the field celebrating his engagement to Vini with the pictures making a buzz on the social media.

The all-rounder had to miss the South Africa tour due to elbow surgery recently after leading the Melbourne Stars to the finals of the Big Bash League 2020- which won the Sydney Sixers.
Meanwhile, Vini has also shared a lovely picture of their engagement on the photo-sharing app where the cricketer was seen wearing a royal blue sherwani while she looks stunning in an embellished green lehenga to make for a perfect couple as they hold hands together and pose for the picture.
She captioned the post: “Last night we celebrated our Indian engagement and I gave @gmaxi_32 a little teaser of what the wedding will be like. Shout out to both of our incredible families & all our friends who came to celebrate with us on such short notice – we are so grateful to be surrounded by some pretty amazing people,”
