Social media had a disliking towards ex-India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar because of his commentary. They had a problem with his on-air comments. But now after reports of BCCI axing Manjrekar from their commentary panel, social media gave mixed reactions.

Some believe it was harsh to remove Sanjay from the panel after being a part of it for so long. There are still the majority of cricket viewers who feel the right call was made as the quality wasn't up to the mark.

Manjrekar has often been in trouble for his comments during a match. For instance, once Kieron Pollard had tagged and told him to turn off his 'verbal diarrhea' on Twitter. Even Ravindra Jadeja's response to Manjrekar last year during the World Cup had grabbed a lot of attention. 

Now, BCCI has got rid of Sanjay and fans have started to guess the reason behind it. Some even speculate it could be beyond cricket and politics has a role to play in it.
