Mumbai Indians were reduced to 4 wickets for 7 runs in the first six overs thanks to a hat-trick from Samuel Badree. The M. Chinnaswamy stadium went gaga over what seemed a sure fire victory for Bangalore.
However Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya had some other plans as they both went on to not only repair the innings, but went on to win the game for their team against all odds. Even the commentators called it their greatest win ever in IPL. Pollard scored a match winning 70 off 47 balls which included 5 sixes and a 93 run partnership with Krunal Pandya.
