Kevin Pietersen once again displayed his witty nature on social media to shut down a fan who tried to take a dig at the former’s financial loss.
There are talks about the IPL taking some damage due to the spread of Coronavirus across the world and some official talks are taking place deciding about the necessary measures that need to be taken. Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who is quite outspoken in nature, posted from his Twitter account that the virus should not halt any sporting event.
He tweeted, “STOPPING sporting events because of this virus would be PATHETIC! Playing a few games without spectators is what should happen, if anything at all! Imagine how much more hysteria there’ll be, if major sports are cancelled...! Just RIDICULOUS!”

A user replied to this tweet saying that KP was saying this so that his IPL contract doesn’t take a hit and he can make money if the tournament goes on well. He wrote, “Might effect your IPL commentary contract I guess?”
Pietersen has zero-tolerance policy against such people who try to spread negativity and shut him down saying that he is quite financially stable and a loss of contract won’t matter that much to him. He wrote, “I think I’m financially ok mate! So take your smart arse comments elsewhere.”
